Vortex is an Atlantean Mythic Age God Powers available to Helios. It teleports all military units of a player to another point on the map. It is useful on water maps as it can allow the player to transport their army to an enemy island without the need for transport ships. It can also be used to beat a hasty retreat if an attack fails without taking any losses.
