Amitabha is a Castle Age unique tech available to the the Tibetans that can be researched in the Castle. Once researched, Monks are granted +1 range and regain their faith 20% faster after a successful conversion.

Amitabha strengthens the Tibetan Monk rush during the Castle Age, as it grants Monks an additional range and regenerate their faith 20% faster after a successful conversion. This means that a Monk can convert a unit in a further distance, giving Tibetan Monks a total of 13 conversion range when Block Printing is researched in Imperial Age. The Monk's healing range is also increased by 1 as well, giving Monks a safer distance for healing units. The faster faith regeneration combined with Illumination means Tibetan Monks can preform another conversion within 26.4 seconds in the Imperial Age. Combined with Monastery techs costing food instead of gold, the Tibetans can save a substainial amount of gold during the Castle Age.
Keep in mind that Monks still cost gold in the Castle Age until the Tibetans reach the Imperial Age and research Om Mani Padme Hum, where Monks cost food instead of gold.
