Age of Empires III Edit
The unique units of the European civilizations in Age of Empires III are simply replacements of standard units. They can be trained any time in the specific building the unit type is trained in. Every European civilization has at least 2 unique units.
Native American and Asian armies consist almost entirely of unique units.
