The Ancient Age (also known as TAA) is a total conversion modification for Age of Empires III, The WarChiefs, and The Asian Dynasties about the ancient times lead and developed by Tilanus Commodor. TAA is neither a remake of Age of Mythology nor Age of Empires, but still includes a few elements of Age of Empires and Age of Empires II. The mod is still in development.[1]

The project is focused on the ancient times until 400 AD and wants to include five civilizations of this particular time-frame, which are Carthaginians, Celts, Hellenes, Persians and Romans.[2]
