I disagree with this view. Not only did it contradict itself later (turtle ship's weaknesses include its slow speed and short range, neither of which are a liability when fighting demolition ships), if I remember correctly turtle ships can kill demolition ships in one hit and never miss, which means that a minimum of three demolition ships are needed to kill a single turtle ship-assuming that it is not defended by other turtle ships, which it almost always is. Demolition ships are just not a cost-effective choice when fighting turtle ships. However admittedly I haven't played AOEII for four years now, so could someone confirm whether I am wrong or right?
