From Age of Empires

Resources are natural goods that can be found lain all over the map in Age of Empires (I, II, III) and Age of Mythology.

There are four different resources in the Age of Empires games, these are:

• Food - collected by hunting, gathering, and fishing.

• Wood - collected by cutting down trees.

• Gold or Coin - collected from gold, silver, copper, and tin mines.

• Stone - collected from stone mines, it don't appears in Age of Mythology or Age of Empires III

• Favor - featured only in Age of Mythology.
