In the Campaign
Edit
In the New Atlantis Campaign Prometheus is a secondary antagonist. He escapes Tartarus after Kastor inadvertanly weakens the Olympians. Prometheus procedes to wreak havoc across the Greek countryside and would have killed Kastor as well if Ajax and Amanra hadn't intervened. Kastor returns after defeating several lesser Titans and weakens Prometheus by restoring the wildlife in the area, which weakens Prometheus allowing him to be defeated.
Prometheus is the strongest unit in the single-player campaign and in the whole game apart from Osiris. He has a 50,000 hitpoints, does 85 hack damage, 175 crush damage, and regenerates nearly instantly, making it impossible to severely damage him. However later on he can be weakened by rebuilding the settlements which causes Gaia's lush to spread out. This lowers his hitpoints and removes his regeneration ability allowing him to be killed.
Mythology
Edit
He was requested by Zeusto make man. He is famous in Greek Mythology
for giving the gift of fire to the mortals against the wishes of Zeus. He was punished by being tied to a rock, and every day, a bird would eat his liver, only to regenerate the next day.| Gods | ||||
