In Age of Empires III, The Humpback Whale offers fishing units a steady source of coin found at seas. Like all Whales, they have an unlimited amount of coin, but have a limit of four gatherers per unit. They are fifty feet long, about as long as a Caravel.
They are the most common Whale in the game, appearing in the majority of maps in Age of Empires III.

- Despite being named with the generic name of Whale, the Humpback Whale appears in the original Age of Empires as a food source, and as a decorative object in Age of Mythology.
