The 'Fishing Ship is the only unit in Age of Empires and Age of Empires II that is capable of gathering Food from fishing spots. The Fishing Ship is an upgrade of Fishing Boat and has more HP and speed and can be trained from the Dock at Tool Age after being upgraded. Boats are twice more resistant to conversion than regular units. Minoan naval units are much cheaper while Yamato have more Hit Points. The Hittites are able to construct Fishing Boats, but they cannot upgrade them to Fishing Ships.
