Convert: kills the target human or myth unit (but not a Titan or Qilin), replacing it with a Minion under the player's control. Recharge time: 20 seconds.
The Mummy may at first glance seem weak - it has a mere 12 pierce attack and is rather fragile, expensive, and takes up 5 population slots. However, its value comes from its truly mighty special attack - when spotting an enemy, a Mummy will exhale a black cloud of insects and death, instantly eliminating the unit targeted. The dead unit automatically returns as an undead Minion under the player's control. Though this minion has a short lifespan, it will fight until its lifespan runs out or it is killed.
As with other instant-kill units, the Mummy is most effective when its special attack is micromanaged to slay the strongest and most expensive units on an enemy force, especially dangerous units like the Colossus, Argus, Azure Dragon, Vermilion Bird, and Mountain Giant. The special attack also works on naval myth units like the Kraken or Dragon Turtle. Due to their high population and favor cost (especially before The Titans), Mummies are hard to mass.
Curiously, despite the Minion being human, most non-humanoid units will still come back as the human Minion once slain by the Mummy.

Heroes prepared for the afterlife were turned into Mummies by embalming and special rites. Among their duties in the next life might be the defense of sacred sites if robbers or other evil doers disturbed their rest. Then the Mummies would arise and destroy their enemies.
If a Mummy attempts to convert the Carcinos into a Minion, the Minion will die instantly due to the crab spewing blood that causes Area of Effect damage upon its death.
