There are various cheats in the Age of Empires series. Below is a list of every cheat.

Age of Empires: Gold Edition 
Edit

Press the ENTER key during game and type in the following codes. Keep in mind that the codes are not case sensitive.

| A trooper from the future with a laser instead of a Nuclear Weapon | |
| Nuclear Weapon weilding soldier is spawned | |

| Big Car similar to Big Momma, only with inverted colors and an attack strength of 200 nuclear missiles | |
| Buildings and units are created instantly. Researching is also instant | |
| Fires half-dressed Villagers from Catapults | |
| Gives you control over nature (but lose control over your own civilization) | |
| Gives you the same thing as the 'pow' cheat, only the baby is much stronger | |
| Kills player [x] | |
| Priests are much faster and with much more health | |
| Removes fog of war | |
| Reveals the geographic terrain map | |
| St. Francis unit that resembles priest, but can call lightning when close enough to opponent [not affected by the 'HOYOHOYO' cheat] | |
| Strengthens and enlarges splash of all your catapults | |
| Summons a baby on a tricycle with a musket | |
| Summons a battle robot that fires laser beams | |
| Transforms villagers into medusas, which, when killed, respawn as Black Riders (Medusas can't work) | |
| Turn gazelles, lions, elephants, and alligators into animal kings | |
| Turns a Bowman into Stealth Archers, which turn into trees when idle | |
| Turns all birds to dragons | |
| Turns Horse Archers into Black Riders, which, when killed, respawn as catapults | |
| Upgrade your Catapult Tiremes/Juggernauts into Flying Dutchmen which can go on land [40 attack strength] | |
| White sports car with Machine gun | |
| You lose the game (commit suicide) | |
| You resign. | |
| Your Ballista and Helepolis gets 99 range |
Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings Edit
