A campaign is a mission or quest type game mode featured in all the Age of Empires or Age of Mythology games, based around a historical or mythical organization, kingdom, setting or colony.
The Campaign Editor allows players to create custom campaigns, or one can play campaigns included with the game and created by Ensemble Studios.
